Promote Your Products on the Black Shopping Channel

The Black Shopping Channel (BSC) is a very unique televised shopping platform that showcases products sold by African American entrepreneurs. It allows small business owners to sell their products on television in a very affordable format - similar to QVC. The products can also be featured on their web site.

Just recently, they signed a major deal to broadcast live on Time Warner Cable on Channel 376 in the North Carolina and South Carolina markets. This officially starts in September, and they expect expand in to other markets soon.

Although, they are only broadcasting to just two markets - these markets are large enough to include at least 35 million households.

I think its a great opportunity for entrepreneurs who are selling unique products, such as Black art, crafts, clothing, jewelry, books, and even travel packages to places like Africa or the Caribbean.

If you sell anything that is especially appealing to African Americans, in my opinion, this is worth a shot. Remember that people spend billions every year on shopping channels.

  1. A group of members of the Black Business Builders Club are in the process of just finishing up a cooperative effort to get the Club on to the Black Shopping Channel. It is our belief that this a great opportunity to continue to help promote Black Businesses and Black Business Awareness. To see the cooperative effort http://buckfiftymiracle.info/bbbcca2011.html
